The Peer Review Process

Upon receiving the manuscript, the editorial board conducts the initial review of the manuscript. If there are things that need to be revised, the manuscript will be sent back to the authors for possible revision.

As the manuscript passed the preliminary screening, the double-blind review process will be implemented. The authors are instructed to refrain from writing self-identifying statements in the manuscript. The editor in chief will send the blinded manuscript to two editors whose identities are unknown to the author/s. the reviewers then will assess the manuscript if it qualifies or not for publication. If it qualifies for publication, they will provide a list of things to improve the manuscript.

The editor will then inform the author/s about the result of the review. The author/s will be given a chance and the time frame to improve the manuscript and be asked to resubmit their manuscript once the revision is done. During the second submission, the author/s must also include the list of improvements in their manuscript or the list of rebuttals and their revised manuscript.

The journal management will then send the revisions to the reviewers. The reviewers will then examine the revised version of the manuscript and decide whether it is ready for publication or not. The management then will inform the authors of the status of their submission. For those manuscripts accepted for publication, the journal management then discloses the volume and the issue the article appears.
