Guide for Authors

The following are the guidelines for the submission of manuscripts for this journal:

  • The research has not been published elsewhere or submitted for publication in other journals.
  • The focus of the manuscript aligns with the aim and scope of this journal.
  • The manuscript must have at least 90% Originality.
  • The manuscript must have at least 95%-grammar score.
  • For manuscripts having multiple authors, all authors must agree to submit the research to this journal.
  • The authors must submit the following documents to sccresearchoffice@sccpag.edu.ph:
    1. Title Page (Title of the manuscript, list of authors and their affiliations, contact information, and ORCID number if available)
    2. The blinded manuscript review (Contains the Title, Abstract, 4-6 keywords, the Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Recommendations for future research, and the References)
    3. Cover letter addressed to the Editor in Chief
    4. Accomplished Declaration of the Conflict-of-Interest Form
  • The manuscript must have at least 5000 words but should not exceed 10,000 words.
  • The manuscripts must be written in Times New Roman Font style, font size 12, and single spacing.
  • The abstract must range from 150-250 words. Factual and concise information is required in the abstract. It briefly states the purpose of the research, the significant findings, and relevant conclusion. As much as possible, avoid having citations in the abstract, but in some studies where citations are necessary, they can be incorporated in the abstract. Avoid using abbreviations in the abstract.
  • The number of keywords must range from four to six. Semicolons separate them. Avoid using plural and multiple concepts.
  • Italicize the keywords for emphasis.
  • The body of the manuscript must have the following contents:
    1. Introduction (exposition of the research problem and its review, the framework, and the research objectives)
    2. Method (Covers the design, setting, participants, inclusion, and exclusion criteria, data gathering techniques, data analysis, and ethical considerations)
    3. Results
    4. Discussion
    5. Conclusion
    6. Recommendations for future research
    7. References (Follow the APA Format 7th Edition)
